Mosquito Advertising: The Parfizz Pitch is an exciting adventure novel by first-time Brisbane author Kate Hunter.

Katie Crisp has talent, it’s just that her report card doesn’t show it. School’s out for another year and Katie is looking forward to a relaxing summer holiday … but everything’s about to change.

In a desperate bid to save the local soft drink maker from being swallowed up by a corporate giant, Katie decides advertising is the answer to both the troubles of the Parfitt’s Family Soft Drink Company and her own. If Parfitt’s closes, her mum will be out of a job and their family home will be sold.

Following the performance, there was a discussion between the actors, the author and the audience about the book and its interpretation.
